The
four suits of the Australian
Goddess Cards represent
the elemental manifestations of the Goddess in Australia, Aqualena
(water), Althera (earth), Hattannah (fire) and Areia (air).
Twelve
of the cards in each suit have an image of Australian water, earth, fire
or air; the thirteenth card has an image of the Goddess. There is one Lady
Most Holy card in the pack.
Each
card also has a traditional Goddess symbol on it, connecting the
Australian Goddess tradition to the older religions of the Goddess.
On
the reverse of each card is a brief description of the image and the
symbols used, with a prayer to the particular Goddess of that suit. |
